Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lars Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lars Storm is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Leo Rua!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua slips a jab and a cross from Storm.
Storm throws a combination. Rua tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Rua looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Storm displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rua.
Storm ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Storm closes the distance and pushes Rua back into the cage.
Rua drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rua breaks the clinch.
Rua looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Storm is fending him off so far but Rua persists. Nope, Storm circles away and we're back to standing.
Lars Storm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Rua.
Storm is looking to clinch but Rua is avoiding it.

Rua has managed to clinch.
Rua's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Storm tries to break free but Rua pushes him back against the cage.
Rua is trying to drag Storm to the mat but Storm just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Rua has Storm pressed against the cage, preventing Storm from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Rua's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Storm jabs at Rua's body.

Rua misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rua takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rua looks gassed!
Storm fails to land with a series of punches.

so Rua counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rua is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Storm might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Storm pulls Rua in close to his closed guard and prevents Rua from doing any damage or advancing position.

Storm kicks Rua off and gets to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Storm!
Lars Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Storm throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rua on the side of the head.

Storm lands a left and a right that send Rua crashing to the mat, dazed. Storm thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Leo Rua has been cut.

Storm drops Rua with a straight right hand, right on the button! Storm follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
