The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duchovony connects with a right hand. Jones shakes it off.
Duchovony lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover.
Jones slips a jab from Duchovony.

Jones dives in and grabs Duchovony's left leg, looking for a takedown. Duchovony pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Duchovony is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Jones looks to land a body kick but Duchovony moved away.

and Jones counters with a single leg into guard. Duchovony didn't expect that.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Duchovony is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Duchovony manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Duchovony's guard.

Jones drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Duchovony dives on top into guard.
