The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

QUICK rushes Gracie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

QUICK is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Gracie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. QUICK gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. QUICK defends it easily.

Gracie is looking for a triangle but QUICK pushes his legs off easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.
QUICK is pulling down on Gracie's head to control his posture.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. QUICK swivels though and keeps the full guard.
QUICK is trying to keep Gracie in close.
QUICK is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that SUPER QUICK will probably get the nod.

SUPER QUICK has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Gracie.

QUICK escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

QUICK closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

QUICK wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working.

QUICK is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gracie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

QUICK wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.

QUICK has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gracie to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! QUICK is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gracie pulls down on the head and he's put QUICK to sleep! This one is all over!
