Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tin Lau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wasil Wasilew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasil Wasilew has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tin Lau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wasil Wasilew!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lau misses with a double jab.
Wasilew scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lau doesn't seem bothered though.

Lau takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lau really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lau is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wasilew doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lau.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lau drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lau jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lau stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wasilew swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wasilew with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lau to score with a decent uppercut.

Wasilew gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lau to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wasilew really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lau. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lau is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wasilew is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lau is controlling him.

Well Lau has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
