Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dearman Poppdog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Knopfler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poppdog comes into the arena with LOK - Hur många grisar är vi nu? blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poppdog throws a head kick but Knopfler moves out of range.
Knopfler tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Knopfler tries to keep at a distance but Poppdog has taken the fight into the clinch.

Poppdog breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Poppdog changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Knopfler looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Poppdog has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Poppdog rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knopfler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Poppdog darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A head kick misses from Knopfler.
Poppdog is looking to clinch.
Poppdog closes the distance and clinches up with Knopfler, looking for a takedown. Poppdog pushes Knopfler against the cage but Knopfler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Knopfler gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Poppdog is looking for a triangle here but Knopfler uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Poppdog tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Knopfler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Knopfler is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Poppdog frees his head nicely. Oh but Knopfler has switched to an armbar! Poppdog is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
