The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balanko looks for a takedown but Urdaalen sprawls well.
Balanko moves in looking to clinch but Urdaalen pushes him off.
Balanko throws the left hand but Urdaalen avoids the punch easily.
Urdaalen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Urdaalen leaves Balanko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Balanko misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Urdaalen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Balanko was covering up waiting for the punch and Urdaalen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Balanko scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Urdaalen manages to mount him!

Urdaalen has his takedown stuffed
and Balanko counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Urdaalen's guard now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Orh Urdaalen.
Urdaalen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Balanko manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Urdaalen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
