Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Byeongsuk Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rannanjarvi Antti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rannanjarvi Antti told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kim avoids the head kick by Antti.
Antti misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kim.
Antti tries to close the distance and clinch but Kim swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kim slips under a jab from Antti.
Kim fails to land with a series of punches.
Kim throws a right and a left that both miss.
Antti throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kim lands a glancing blow to the side of Antti's head.

Antti looks for a takedown but Kim sprawls well.

Antti postures up in Kim's guard and throws a big left but Kim blocks it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rannanjarvi Antti dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Byeongsuk Kim's cut.
That's time! Kim's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Antti takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Antti clinches.
Kim wants to break free but Antti has control.
Antti stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Antti lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Antti gets through Kim's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Antti.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Antti goes for a takedown attempt but Kim pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Antti has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Antti there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Kim counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Despite being in the dominant position, Rannanjarvi Antti just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
