Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reginald Chambers!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Apina darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Chambers is trying to control but can't.
Chambers might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Apina kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Apina seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Apina works his way into full mount!
Apina content just to control the position here.
Chambers is trying to escape the mount but Apina keeps good control and instead manages to take Chambers's back.
Apina really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Chambers.
Chambers tries to escape but Apina has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Apina is looking to control Chambers but Chambers is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Chambers wants to control his opponent's hands but Apina gets his hands free.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Apina controlling the positon.
Apina is looking to control Chambers but Chambers is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Chambers defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Apina's arms.
Apina tries to keep control of the position but Chambers is staying busy.

Apina is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Chambers is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Chambers trying to control the hands but Apina won't let him.
Apina controlling the position well here. Chambers rolled but Apina kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chambers wants to get back to his feet.

Apina is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Apina is looking to control Chambers but Chambers is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Apina has the hooks in. Chambers is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Chambers's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Chambers has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Apina controlling well, preventing Chambers from escaping the position.
Chambers looking very determined here, making life difficult for Apina.
Chambers is really stuck here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chambers trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Chambers tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Chambers is in a horrible position here. Apina smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Apina goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Chambers is on top in guard.

Apina has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Chambers off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Chambers is looking to clinch.
Chambers keeps the fight on the outside.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Apina.
Chambers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Apina.

Chambers gets caught flat footed, as Apina shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Apina is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Antti Apina dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Apina closes the distance but Chambers moves to the side

and Chambers counters with a single leg into guard. Apina didn't expect that.
Chambers thows a big elbow that misses.
Chambers is looking to work some ground and pound but Apina has wrist control.

Apina looking for a guillotine here but Chambers defends easily.
Chambers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Apina is trying to keep Chambers in close.

Chambers stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Apina throws up his legs and catches Chambers in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Chambers tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Apina! That came out of nowhere!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Antti Apina!
