Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klein East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think East might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cold as Ice- M.O.P.. The crowd seem to be enjoying Styles's choice of entrance music: I Am by Dale Oliver. On his way into the cage it seems that Klein East has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Klein East seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract East.
Styles tries to clinch but East is having none of it.
East connects with an inside leg kick.
East circles away from the clinch attempt.
Styles avoids the body shot from East.
Styles tries to close the distance and clinch but East swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
East throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
East scores with a push kick.
Styles tries to clinch but East moves out of range.
East scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
East throws a right hand that Styles ducks under and follows up with a left that Styles also avoids with ease.
A looping hook to the body misses from East. Styles does a little dance to reset his feet.
Styles throws a head kick but East moves out of range.
Klein East seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

East swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Styles.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

East shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than East was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Styles is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, East has taken his back.

East closes the distance and clinches up with Styles, looking for a takedown. East pushes Styles against the cage but Styles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Styles has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by East.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A solid leg kick lands there for East.
East lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
East swings and misses with a hook to the body.

East throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Styles tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. East is in Styles's guard.
East passes Styles's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
East wants to control but Styles is keeping him busy.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Styles is trying to shake East off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! East won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

East feints and then cracks Styles's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Styles down.
East is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Styles can do to turn this around?

East lands with an uppercut that bounces Styles off the cage and back into rage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

East throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

AJ Styles is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
East works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
East fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Styles.
Styles takes one on the chin but seems OK.
East throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Styles stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
East lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

East shoots in and bounces Styles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Styles can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as East controls the pace.

East's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Klein East is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Styles wants to stand and escape but East is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
East wants to pass the guard but Styles is keeping the position.
Styles keeping moving, preventing East from controlling successfully.
East controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We're going to have a standup here because Klein East wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
East fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Styles has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well East has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
