Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith scores with a takedown into Oliver's guard.

Oliver pushes Smith off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Smith ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oliver displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smith.
Oliver has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Horrible takedown by Oliver or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad.

Smith gets a takedown into half guard.
Smith thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Oliver's head.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Smith in particular looking to stall.
Oliver is looking to improve his position.

Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oliver on the ground.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Oliver misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Smith looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Smith throws a series of strikes that have Oliver backpedaling.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Oliver.

Oliver prevents Smith from escaping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oliver tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Smith is looking to reverse the position.
Oliver tries to score with some ground and pound. Smith controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Oliver has hold of Smith's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Smith seems comfortable defending it but Oliver has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Smith is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Smith is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Oliver couldn't care less - he's delighted!
