Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Wafu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Dex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wafu moves in looking to clinch but Dex pushes him off.
Dex throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wafu tries to clinch but Dex is having none of it.

Wafu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dex as he avoids it easily.
Dex defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wafu.

Wafu misses with a takedown attempt - Dex sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caleb Wafu. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dex drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wafu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wafu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dex defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dex has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wafu is proving hard to escape from.

Wafu has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dex should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Wafu has tightened it up now! Dex should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
