Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Logan Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Burza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baird comes to the cage accompanied by Gangsta's Paradise. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baird looks for a takedown but Burza sprawls well.
Baird shoots in for a takedown but Burza shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Danga de danga de dang - Burza scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Logan Baird has been cut.
Burza goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Baird shoots in looking for a takedown. Burza tries to sprawl out of it but Baird keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Logan Baird. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baird misses with a takedown attempt - Burza sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Burza stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Burza wants it to stay on the feet.
Baird really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Baird takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Burza lands a really nice looking cross but Baird seems unphased.
Baird takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Burza drops Baird with a left right combo! Burza follows him down to the ground into side control.

Burza has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Baird is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Burza yanks on the arm and Baird is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Burza.
