PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Go Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rice Pilaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okami has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Rice Pilaf will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Go Okami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rice Pilaf!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilaf misses with a two punch combination.
Pilaf shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pilaf fails to land with a series of punches.
Pilaf changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Okami tries to avoid it but Pilaf manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Okami to the ground. Okami escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pilaf throws a hook to the side of Okami's head but Okami sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Okami misses with a double jab.
Okami tries a head kick but it misses.
Okami is breathing heavily.
Nice shot lands for Pilaf.
Nice takedown defense from Pilaf. No joy for Okami on that attempt.
Okami moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Okami is rocked!
Okami moves forwards but Pilaf connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Oh Okami is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Okami pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pilaf dances in with a quick combination. Okami is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Pilaf snaps Okami's head back. Okami stumbles backwards against the cage. Pilaf steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Okami's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Okami just didn't come prepared.
