The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yawara is looking to clinch but Saotome is avoiding it.
Yawara darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Yawara wants to take a breather but Saotome is having none of it.
Saotome is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Yawara's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Yawara's back!
Yawara is trying to defend against the choke here but Saotome has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Saotome Tightens the hold and Yawara taps out furiously! Saotome displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
