Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistair Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze comes to the cage accompanied by Judith by a Perfect Circle. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rutten is looking to clinch but Blaze is avoiding it.
Rutten tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Blaze leaves Rutten with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rutten fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blaze avoids it really well and circles away.

Rutten tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Blaze manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Alistair Rutten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blaze lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Rutten quite badly. Rutten pulls Blaze in close trying to recover. Blaze postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Rutten on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Rutten doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
