Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keiko Nakatomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Ballard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Elijah Ballard!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballard throws a shot from downtown. Nakatomi moves away and avoids it.
Ballard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ballard slips under a jab from Nakatomi.
Nakatomi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ballard loads up on a big right hand but Nakatomi slips the punch.
Ballard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nakatomi was well out of range. Poor timing from Ballard.
Ballard takes a swing at Nakatomi's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nakatomi avoids the body shot from Ballard.
Nakatomi scores with a nice strike.

Ballard is rocked!
Ballard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nakatomi lands with a good body shot.
Nakatomi throws a jab when Ballard was well out of range.
Ballard avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nakatomi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ballard swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Nakatomi counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ballard! Nakatomi lets Ballard back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ballard is still on wobbly legs! Can Nakatomi finish him?

Nakatomi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ballard seems to have recovered his senses.
Ballard misses with a body punch
and Nakatomi counters with a nice right hand that sends Ballard toppling to the canvas! Ballard scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Nakatomi finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Nakatomi counters with a nice right hand that sends Ballard toppling to the canvas! Ballard scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Nakatomi finish him?!

Nakatomi sends Ballard crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nakatomi is motioning to the referee to let Ballard up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Ballard throws a predictable looking body shot
and Ballard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nakatomi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ballard is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nakatomi.
Nakatomi throws a series of punches but Ballard avoids them all with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Nakatomi is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Ballard looks to land a left hand but Nakatomi moved out of range nicely.

letting Nakatomi counter with a right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Nakatomi counters with a big right hand! Oh Ballard is in trouble here! Nakatomi follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
