Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Miki Thron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Collins is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Beginning of the End. Dave Collins has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Miki Thron's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins leaves Thron with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Collins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thron manages to avoid it.
Thron shoots in but Collins avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Collins lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Collins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Thron tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Collins is in Thron's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dave Collins hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Collins lands a really nice looking cross but Thron seems unphased.

Collins clobbers Thron with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Collins throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Thron on the side of the head.

Thron shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Collins's guard.

Thron drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Collins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Thron has Collins in his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thron had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Collins defends it easily.
