Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phillip McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Preston Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Driver has chosen Candy Paint as his entrance music. Preston Driver is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Preston Driver!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee slips under a jab.

McGee throws a low kick but it's checked well by Driver.

Driver changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McGee fights it off and pushes away nicely.

McGee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Driver napping and manages to drive through into side control!

McGee is nestled in close to Driver, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
McGee is trying to control the action in half guard but Driver is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

McGee throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Driver on the side of the head.

Driver scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McGee doesn't seem bothered though.

Preston Driver has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Driver is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McGee defends well.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Preston Driver.
I think McGee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
