Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Tulirinta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiro Sakurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tulirinta comes to the cage accompanied by Aphrodite - Ganja Man. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurai darts in and clinches Tulirinta up against the cage.

The fighters circling - Sakurai throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Sakurai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tulirinta manages to avoid it.
Sakurai connects with a solid leg kick.
Tulirinta throws a lazy right hand but Sakurai sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tulirinta takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Marcus Tulirinta has been cut.

Tulirinta shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Tulirinta seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Sakurai is holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tulirinta jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sakurai is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sakurai and Tulirinta has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Sakurai is not content to let Tulirinta control the position.

Sakurai is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Tulirinta off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Tulirinta throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sakurai tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tulirinta is in Sakurai's guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sakurai pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Tulirinta is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sakurai.
Tulirinta shoots in looking for a takedown but Sakurai manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tulirinta's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Hiro Sakurai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hiro Sakurai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Sakurai takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Tulirinta slips under a jab from Sakurai.
Sakurai wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sakurai looks to land a left hand but Tulirinta moved out of range nicely.

Sakurai catches Tulirinta with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
