And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paakku fails in his attempt to clinch.
pummel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
pummel misses with a looping left.
pummel throws a looping overhand right but Paakku ducks down to avoid it.
A big right from pummel misses.
pummel just misses with a punch to the body.
Paakku moves out of range of the strikes.
pummel misses the shot to the body.
pummel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Paakku manages to avoid it.
pummel misses the jab.
Paakku tries to clinch there but pummel circles away.
pummel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
keke pummel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like keke pummel has been cut.
Paakku thows a body shot but no joy.
pummel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Paakku has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
pummel misses with a low kick as Paakku jumps back.

Paakku tries to close the distance and clinch up but pummel swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Paakku fails with an attempt to clinch.
Paakku works pummel's body with a nice hook.
pummel fails to land with a series of punches.
A combination from pummel does no damage.
pummel misses with an uppercut.
Paakku is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Paakku gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Paakku drops his hands momentarily and pummel takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

pummel scores with a hook to the body. Paakku takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Paakku moves in looking to clinch but pummel pushes him off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

letting Paakku counter with a right hand.
pummel gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Paakku goes for a small jab and connects. Now Paakku goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! pummel stumbles back but Paakku runs in with a huge uppercut knocking pummel to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if pummel will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
