The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cashman sprawls well initially but Knight persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Knight postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Cashman to stand up.

Knight changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cashman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Knight is landing with some decent strikes but Cashman is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Knight is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cashman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Knight has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Cashman is forced to tap!
