Thunderclap comes to the cage accompanied by ThunderStruck. Randy Musashi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musashi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Tank Thunderclap has been cut.
Thunderclap on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Thunderclap shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Thunderclap throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Musashi wants to control but Thunderclap is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Thunderclap has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Thunderclap lands a nice short elbow.
Musashi is looking for a sweep. Thunderclap is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Musashi pushes Thunderclap off looking to stand but Thunderclap dives back in and keeps control.

Thunderclap looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Thunderclap prevents Musashi from standing back up.

Thunderclap is looking to take a break and control but Musashi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Thunderclap landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Thunderclap lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Musashi trying to hold on to Thunderclap's head to control him but Thunderclap postures up.

Thunderclap is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Musashi defends it well.
Thunderclap thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Thunderclap slips a nice elbow through Musashi 's hands, connecting with Musashi 's forehead.
Musashi is trying to stand up here but Thunderclap is controlling him well.

Thunderclap is looking for a kimura but Musashi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Thunderclap to get the leverage.
Musashi misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Thunderclap thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Thunderclap lands with a punch from half guard.
Musashi is trying to control but can't.
Musashi is staying active underneath Thunderclap, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Musashi is trying to stand up here but Thunderclap is controlling him well.
Musashi trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Thunderclap manages to pass to mount!

Thunderclap looking to secure an arm triangle but Musashi defends it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thunderclap is landing with some decent strikes but Musashi is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Musashi tries to hold on but Thunderclap postures up.

Thunderclap loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Musashi scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Thunderclap land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Thunderclap stands and salutes the crowd.
