Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikhail Valensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse LeGuerre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valensky comes to the cage accompanied by Jesus Built My Hotrod- Ministry. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

LeGuerre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Valensky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Valensky manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

LeGuerre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Valensky gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Valensky avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Valensky stands up and waves to LeGuerre to follow him.
LeGuerre closes the distance but Valensky moves to the side
and Valensky counters with a stiff right hand.

Valensky darts in and clinches LeGuerre up against the cage.
LeGuerre goes for a takedown attempt but Valensky pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Valensky counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A nice combination there by Valensky.

Jesse LeGuerre's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jesse LeGuerre's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
