Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Ka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuri Ka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a kick to the body.
Ka pivots, looking for a leg kick but Silva is out of range and Ka settles back down.
Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Silva scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ka looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ka as he jumps to the side.

Ka throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ka at a distance.
Ka jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Silva counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ka throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.
Silva uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ka.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Ka is just out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ka pinned against the cage. Ka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ka's half guard.
Silva is trying to work for a kimura but Ka is defending well.
Silva is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ka sees it coming and defends easily.

Silva misses with a head shot. Ka uses the momentum to regain guard.

Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ka tries to land a sweep but no joy.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ka is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Silva wants to improve his position but Ka is controlling well.
Ka frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Silva really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ka looking to control but Silva is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ryan Silva will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Ka with a nice cross.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ka tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ka to the ground. Ka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ka scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ka tries to score with a low kick but Silva moves his leg out of the way.
Silva attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Silva moves out of range of the leg kick from Ka.
A jab from Ka misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Ka bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ka throws a leg kick
and Silva counters with a big head kick but Ka shrugs it off.
Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ka circles away.

Ka misses with a hook to the body
and Silva makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ka really felt that one!
Yuri Ka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ka throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ka throws a hook but Silva blocks it.

Silva dives in and grabs Ka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ka pushes down on Silva's head and hops out.
Yuri Ka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Silva.
Silva throws a head kick that half lands.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Ka shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Ka. No joy for Silva on that attempt.

Ka is looking to control Silva's arms but Silva gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ka has his back to the cage.

Silva throws a head punch that misses.
Silva struggles to land a body shot inside as Ka controls his hands.
Silva has Ka pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ka manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Silva has a couple of punches blocked by Ka.

Yuri Ka showed his dominance in that final round.
