The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon swings for the body but sinclair moves out of range.
Cannon misses with an uppercut.
Cannon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but sinclair moves away.
sinclair looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cannon. sinclair does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cannon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cannon throws a hook to the side of sinclair's head but sinclair sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
sinclair throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cannon's waist but Cannon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing sinclair off to one side.
Cannon throws a lazy right hand but sinclair sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Cannon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cannon throws out a loose jab but sinclair uses good head movement to avoid it.

sinclair walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cannon throws an overhand right that lands on sinclair's shoulder, as sinclair tries to avoid the shot.

Matthew Cannon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of tony sinclair.
Cannon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cannon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cannon wants it to stay on the feet.
