The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sherk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sherk looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Lee manages to get back to half guard.
Lee wants to improve his position but Sherk is controlling well.

Sherk is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lee is trying to stand back up but Sherk is controlling him

Lee looking for submissions off his back.
Sherk wants to take a breather but Lee is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Sherk slaps away a takedown attempt from Lee, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
