Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Willie Whiskers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a jab to the head.
Whiskers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Whiskers tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Whiskers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Whiskers persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Whiskers is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Whiskers's back instead.

Silva is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Whiskers knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Whiskers for a finish.

Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Whiskers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Whiskers should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Silva has tightened it up now! Whiskers should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
