Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jedi Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koji Hisaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight comes to the cage accompanied by Pride Theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hisaki chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Knight can pounce on him.
Hisaki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hisaki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knight is trying to stand up here but Hisaki is controlling him well.

Hisaki tightens his grip and picks Knight up, before dumping him to the ground. Knight manages to land in guard.

Hisaki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Knight is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hisaki, into his guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Knight throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
