Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Death Demon III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Violence Fetish by Disturbed as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a head kick but Demon III moves out of range.
Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Demon III closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away.
Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Johnson.
That kick from Johnson tenderised Demon III's leg. Demon III is trying to keep his angry face on.

It looks like Death Demon III has been cut.
Demon III wants to clinch.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Death Demon III seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Demon III looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Demon III persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Demon III. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Johnson is fighting to break Demon III's control of his arms but Demon III is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

That's time! Demon III's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Demon III shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Johnson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

so Demon III counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nice takedown defense from Johnson. No joy for Demon III on that attempt.

Death Demon III overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Demon III controls the pace.
Johnson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Demon III manages to pass to side control.

Demon III stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
