Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Venzor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venzor's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fucking Hostile by Pantera. Johnny Venzor has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Venzor throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Couture.
Couture avoids the head kick by Venzor.

Couture clinches.
Venzor trying to stall but Couture improves his position.
Couture has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Venzor avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Couture as Venzor tries to tie him up.
Venzor is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Couture's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Couture is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Venzor can't fight it off and eventually Couture manages to take the fight to the floor. Venzor looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

I looks like Couture might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Let's hope that Couture has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Couture moves into the clinch successfully.
Venzor is trying to break free.
Venzor is trying to force a seperation but Couture has the dominant position.

Couture jumps guard.
Venzor trying to control the position from guard on top but Couture is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Couture has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Couture has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Venzor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Couture is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Venzor's half guard.

Couture is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Couture looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Couture is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Venzor defends it well.

Couture forces Venzor back against the cage and clinches.

Couture has Venzor pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Couture pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Venzor tumbling to the mat - Couture dives into Venzor's guard.
Couture is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Couture tries to free his leg and advance position but Venzor is retaining full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Couture stands up from Venzor's guard - Couture perhaps looking for a knockout.
Couture shoots in but Venzor avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Couture lands a glancing blow to the side of Venzor's head.

Venzor gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Couture to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Couture decides to stand and escape the position.
Venzor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Couture moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Couture gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Venzor misses with a punch to the body.

Venzor is fighting off a takedown attempt but Couture is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Venzor to the mat. Venzor regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Couture drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Venzor manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Couture has Venzor in his guard.
Couture has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Venzor won't allow Couture to get back to his feet.

Couture is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Couture moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Johnny Venzor has been cut.

and Couture counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Venzor's guard now.

Couture gets to his feet. Venzor looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Couture escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Couture closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Venzor tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Couture gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Couture not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Couture throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Venzor works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Couture is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Randy Couture was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Couture has a takedown stuffed.
Venzor lands a jab-cross combination.
Johnny Venzor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Couture fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Venzor sprawls well initially but Couture persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Well Couture has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
