The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bam Bam shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Aalto manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aalto slips a jab and a cross from Bam Bam.
Aalto keeps the fight on the outside.
Bam Bam swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Aalto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bam Bam tries to avoid it but Aalto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bam Bam to the ground. Bam Bam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Richardt Bam Bam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Otto Aalto.
Bam Bam looks to throw a body kick

and Aalto counters by moving into the clinch.
Bam Bam wants to get back to striking at distance but Aalto won't allow it.
Aalto jumps guard but Bam Bam stands there with Aalto around his waist. Aalto gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bam Bam can't get the takedown.

Aalto has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bam Bam uses from the top position.
