Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Burza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Alexander !
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Burza fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alexander manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Burza counters with a stiff right hand.

Burza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Burza counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Burza throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alexander stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Burza uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Alexander has time to react.
Burza slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Alexander might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Burza has got the better of the exchanges.
Burza uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Alexander has time to react.

Well Burza has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
