Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Dempsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar's entrance music is Metallica. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Dempsey!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey lands a body shot.
Lesnar works Dempsey's body with a nice hook.
Dempsey looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lesnar is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dempsey scores with a couple of nice shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar wants to get back to his feet.
Lesnar tries to get to full guard but Dempsey has control of the leg.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Lesnar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dempsey is working away from the top position though.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A cross from Lesnar lands.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dempsey lands a head kick. Lesnar smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Lesnar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dempsey.
Lesnar connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dempsey momentarily.
Dempsey shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lesnar is looking to improve his position.
Still in half guard, Dempsey seems content to control.
Lesnar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lesnar is trying to maintain the position but Dempsey is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dempsey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lesnar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Mark Dempsey hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lesnar misses the shot to the body.
Dempsey moves out of range as Lesnar strikes.
Lesnar misses with a wild combination.
Lesnar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lesnar misses with a straight right.
A jab lands there for Lesnar.

Dempsey changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.
Dempsey tries a head kick but it misses.
Lesnar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dempsey counters with an inside leg kick.
Dempsey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dempsey has an Americana. Lesnar didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Dempsey is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Dempsey hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
