Xystorophroi has chosen Boom!!! as his entrance music. Oberyn Martell could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Xavier Xystorophroi's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martell connects with a right hand. Xystorophroi shakes it off.

It looks like Xavier Xystorophroi has been cut.
A jab from Martell misses.
Horrible takedown by Xystorophroi or perhaps it was just good defense by Martell which made him look bad.

Martell throws a series of punches but Xystorophroi moves out of range.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Martell and Xystorophroi goes tumbling to the canvas! Martell follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Xystorophroi is rocked!

Martell is looking for a kimura but Xystorophroi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Martell to get the leverage.
Xystorophroi is still in real trouble! Can Martell finish him?

Oberyn Martell has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Nice uppercut lands for Martell. That snapped Xystorophroi's head back.

Martell tries to bum rush Xystorophroi with a series of wild strikes but Xystorophroi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Martell cracks Xystorophroi with an uppercut from hell and Xystorophroi crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Martell's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Xystorophroi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Xystorophroi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Martell is one step ahead there.
Martell has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Xystorophroi is proving hard to escape from.

Martell throws a lazy right hand but Xystorophroi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Martell is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Martell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Xystorophroi ducks under a wild hook from Martell.
Martell's corner calls for a 1-2. Martell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

The cut above Xavier Xystorophroi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Martell cracks Xystorophroi with a left hook right on the temple and Xystorophroi goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Martell lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Xystorophroi is OK!
