Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taye Silcic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manolo do Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silcic comes into the arena with Jedi Mind Tricks-Kublai Khan blaring out of the sound system. Taye Silcic could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Manolo do Jiu Jitsu's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Jiu Jitsu. No joy for Silcic on that attempt.
Silcic is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Silcic moves in looking to clinch but Jiu Jitsu pushes him off.
Silcic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jiu Jitsu's waist but Jiu Jitsu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silcic off to one side.
Jiu Jitsu on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Manolo do Jiu Jitsu has been cut.
Silcic shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jiu Jitsu but Jiu Jitsu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taye Silcic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jiu Jitsu instigates a clinch.
Jiu Jitsu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silcic walks away with a smile on his face. Jiu Jitsu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Jiu Jitsu closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silcic did well to prevent Jiu Jitsu getting side control.
Jiu Jitsu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silcic keeps working.
Silcic wants to improve his position but Jiu Jitsu is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jiu Jitsu prevents Silcic from improving his position.
Jiu Jitsu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silcic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Silcic throws out a leg kick but Jiu Jitsu moves out of range and Silcic only half commits.
Jiu Jitsu shoots for a takedown but Silcic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silcic shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Jiu Jitsu counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silcic's guard now.

Silcic looking for a guillotine here but Jiu Jitsu defends easily.
Jiu Jitsu wants to control from the top but Silcic keeps moving.
Silcic wants to sweep but no luck.
Jiu Jitsu tries to free his leg and advance position but Silcic is retaining full guard.

Jiu Jitsu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silcic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jiu Jitsu has managed to get both his arms back between Silcic's legs - danger averted.

Silcic is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Jiu Jitsu frees his head nicely. Oh but Silcic has switched to an armbar! Jiu Jitsu is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
