The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McOut closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mafusa did well to prevent McOut getting side control.
Mafusa is trying to stand.
Mafusa is defending against the submission attempts here by McOut.
McOut tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mafusa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
McOut thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
McOut working over Mafusa with some ground and pound. Mafusa looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
McOut thows a huge punch but Mafusa dodges it nicely.
McOut maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mafusa could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but McOut has cracked it and Mafusa is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by McOut!
