The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blicharz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Blicharz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McLovin was covering up waiting for the punch and Blicharz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
McLovin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

McLovin wants to sweep here but Blicharz controlling him for the moment.

Blicharz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McLovin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Blicharz , into his guard.

McLovin drops back looking for a leg! Blicharz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blicharz manages to kick McLovin off! McLovin jumps back into Blicharz 's guard.

McLovin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McLovin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
McLovin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Blicharz is fighting to break McLovin's control of his arms but McLovin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Blicharz drops back, looking for a kneebar! McLovin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McLovin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McLovin!

McLovin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Blicharz , who protects the arm well.
McLovin misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

McLovin tries to score with some ground and pound. Blicharz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

McLovin stands up and beckons Blicharz to his feet.

McLovin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blicharz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McLovin throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

McLovin has Blicharz pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. McLovin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Blicharz tumbling to the mat - McLovin dives into Blicharz 's guard.

McLovin has hold of Blicharz 's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Blicharz tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - McLovin cranks the arm and Blicharz screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Blicharz , who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
