Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tray Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts has chosen Bonkers By Dizee Rascal as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Green digs a good hook to Roberts's body.
Roberts throws a right and a left that Green avoids nicely.
Roberts misses with a leg kick.
Green uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Roberts.
Roberts avoids the body shot from Green.
Green steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Roberts.
Roberts looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Roberts throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Green sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Roberts takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Green clinches up with Roberts and pushes him back against the cage.

Roberts is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Green closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Green is persistently looking for the submission but Roberts is defending it well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Green is looking for a choke. Roberts gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Roberts manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Green will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Green is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Green looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Roberts puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Green manages to get to full guard.
Green lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roberts!
Roberts wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Green.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Green stuns Roberts with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Roberts throws a jab but it's blocked by Green.
Roberts takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Green moves into the clinch.

Green works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Green's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Green feints and as Roberts raises his hands in defense, Green changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Green is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Green has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Roberts is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Green yanks on the arm and Roberts is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Green.
