The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mongkut fails with an attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mongkut looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brown takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sunan Mongkut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mongkut throws a leg kick but Brown sees it coming and moves out of range.
Mongkut tries to land a front kick but Brown steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

A solid leg kick lands there for Mongkut.
Brown has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mongkut.
Mongkut throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range.

Mongkut throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Brown takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mongkut feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brown's calf.

Mongkut has Brown up against the cage in a clinch.
Mongkut keeps control of Brown as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brown takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Mongkut connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Mongkut.
Mongkut paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

A solid leg kick lands there for Mongkut.
Brown chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mongkut can pounce on him.
Mongkut throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mongkut buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Brown takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mongkut fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Brown is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Mongkut throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brown on the side of the head.
Brown throws a series of punches but Mongkut avoids them all with ease.
Mongkut doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Mongkut misses with a combination
and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mongkut cracks Brown with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Mongkut throws a leg kick which misses Brown's front leg but catches the back leg as Brown tries to avoid it.
Mongkut tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.

Brown is rocked!
Mongkut drops Brown with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Brown! Mongkut dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
