Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Theodore Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uriel Black!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher scores with a decent looking hook.
Fisher has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fisher tries a head kick but it misses.
Fisher misses with a series of wild punches.
Fisher looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range.
Fisher throws a head kick but Black moves out of range.

and Black cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fisher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Black lands with a good body shot.

Black lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fisher attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Black catches Fisher with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Fisher lands with a nice combination. Black backs away looking to recover.
Fisher is breathing heavily.
Black steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fisher.

and Black counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Fisher is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Fisher is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Black.

Black is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Black's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
I looks like Black might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Uriel Black.
Fisher shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

Fisher is looking for a sweep. Black is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Black perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Black working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Black is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fisher!
Black fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Black tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black is riding his opponent, not letting Fisher buck him off.

Despite being in the dominant position, Uriel Black just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fisher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Black displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fisher throws out the jab.
The crowd cheers as Black lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fisher doesn't seem phased though.
Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Black digs a good body shot into Fisher's ribs.
Fisher throws a leg kick
and Black counters with a three punch combo that has Fisher backing up. Fisher nods at Black to acknowledge the strikes.
Black ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Fisher drops his hands momentarily and Black takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fisher pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fisher takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fisher misses with a looping right.
Black throws a right and a left that Fisher avoids nicely.
Black pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Black lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fisher at a distance.
Black dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Fisher takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Fisher misses with a hook. Black ducked under it nicely.

Black clinches up against the cage.
Fisher wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Black breaks from the clinch.
Fisher falls off balance throwing a combination
and Black counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fisher's knee momentarily.
Fisher throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fisher scores with a one two! Black had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Fisher!
Fisher drops his hands momentarily and Black takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fisher misses the body punch
and Black counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Black has closed the distance and engaged Fisher in a clinch.

Black breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Donk. Black catches Fisher right on the button with a cross.
Black throws a front kick that sends Fisher stumbling back into the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Black connects with a looping right hand.
A nice combination there by Black.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Black pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fisher takes one on the button.

Black closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Black lands some shots froms side control.
Fisher is trying to escape the position but Black is controlling the position.
Black works to advance to full mount. Fisher defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Black lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Fisher looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Black is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Black lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Black controlling the positon.
Black has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Black connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Fisher to escape the position.
Black trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Fisher doesn't escape.

Black looking for the choke but no joy.
Fisher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Black on the ground.
Black has good solid back control here.

Black has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Fisher! Can he survive? No! He's out! Black gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Uriel Black!
