Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dokonjonosuke Fujisaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dre Musashi!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musashi lands a left and a right that send Fujisaki crashing to the mat, dazed. Musashi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Dokonjonosuke Fujisaki has been cut.
Musashi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fujisaki swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Musashi tries to bum rush Fujisaki with a series of wild strikes but Fujisaki uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fujisaki looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fujisaki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fujisaki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Fujisaki stands and throws Musashi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Musashi is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Fujisaki is controlling him well.
Fujisaki has hold of Musashi's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Musashi seems comfortable defending it but Fujisaki has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Musashi is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Musashi is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Fujisaki couldn't care less - he's delighted!
