Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chazz Gecko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thabiso Rowan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gecko's entrance music is Bon Jovi: Livin' On A Prayer. A fine choice. Thabiso Rowan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Gecko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rowan.
Rowan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Thabiso Rowan has been cut.
Rowan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gecko's half guard.

Rowan is keen to just control but Gecko is a slippery customer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Horrible takedown by Rowan or perhaps it was just good defense by Gecko which made him look bad.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gecko listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Rowan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gecko cracks Rowan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gecko has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rowan to stand back up!
Rowan is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gecko lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
