Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mauri Hanuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mauri Hanuri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Antonio Alves!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves tries to clinch there but Hanuri circles away.
Hanuri looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Alves clinches up with Hanuri and pushes him back against the cage.
Alves has a couple of punches blocked by Hanuri.
Alves tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hanuri just stands there and leans against the cage.
Alves fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hanuri wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Alves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hanuri throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mauri Hanuri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alves has managed to clinch.

Hanuri breaks from the clinch.
Hanuri lands a high kick!

Alves shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Alves showed some decent athleticism there.
Alves not doing much here.

Alves is looking for a kimura but Hanuri is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Alves to get the leverage.

Alves blocks the strikes from Hanuri.
Alves throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hanuri tries to get to full guard but Alves has control of the leg.
Hanuri punching from the bottom.
Hanuri won't allow Alves to pass to mount.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Alves shoots in but Hanuri avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mauri Hanuri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Alves.
Alves needs to keep his hands up - Hanuri had a free shot at his head there.
Hanuri swats away the attempt to clinch by Alves.
Hanuri digs a good hook to Alves's body.
Alves looks gassed!
Hanuri throws a one two combo.
Hanuri closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Mauri Hanuri is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
