The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson wants to clinch.
A bone on bone clash there as Tanner blocks the leg kick.

Tanner fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Tanner persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jackson is pressing down on Tanner's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Tanner throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackson is on top in guard.

Jackson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jackson throws a strike but Tanner rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Tanner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Tanner closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tanner is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jackson is surviving well by controlling Tanner's body position as best he can.

Tanner winds up and cracks Jackson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Oh Jackson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!


O Shea Jackson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
