Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Triston Baal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Banoch Brae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brae moves away.
Brae misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brae looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Brae misses with a wild combination.
Baal scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Brae misses with a hook to the body
and Baal connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Banoch Brae has been cut.
Baal looks to throw the jab but Brae is out of range.

and Baal counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brae won't be happy with that.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brae can do anything to dispel that myth.
Brae tries to buck Baal off but Baal is having none of it.

Baal has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
