Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reijo Ruthman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Aha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruthman comes into the arena with Special Teamz - Get Down blaring out of the sound system. David Aha is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aha moves forwards but Ruthman connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ruthman scores with a nice head shot.
Ruthman feints and then cracks Aha's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aha down.
Ruthman connects with the punch.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ruthman, as that shot connected.
Ruthman lands a lovely overhand right.
Aha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Aha shoots in but Ruthman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ruthman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Aha's head backwards.
Aha tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ruthman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ruthman.
Ruthman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Aha's head.

Aha closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ruthman circles away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Aha tries to close the distance and clinch but Ruthman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aha throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Aha closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ruthman quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ruthman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Aha is working away from the top position though.

Aha is sitting in close to Ruthman's body. Ruthman has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Aha is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Aha is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Ruthman.
