The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers misses with a wild combination.
maynard lunges at Myers with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Myers's hand.
maynard on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
maynard fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Myers avoids it really well and circles away.
Milton Myers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
