The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

niyf feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as niyf accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
niyf postures up in Rini's guard and throws a big left but Rini blocks it.
niyf throws a strike but Rini rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rini wants to control from the top but niyf keeps moving.

niyf has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rini has one foot on niyf's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Rini really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Uki Rini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of niyf niyf.

It looks like niyf niyf has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
niyf tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rini manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rini dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

niyf leaves his chin hanging out and Rini seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! niyf crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
