Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Blood And Thunder - Mastodon. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.

Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Silva works to advance to full mount. Hunt defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Hunt is desperately trying to improve his position but Silva has a good base and remains in mount.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hunt has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Silva finds it's way round the side to connect with Hunt's head.

Hunt throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Hunt shows good takedown defense.
Hunt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hunt circles away from the clinch attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Hunt lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
