Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Da Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Left hook, right uppercut from Da Silva.
Konap throws a one two combo.
Konap catches Da Silva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Da Silva misses with a double jab
and Konap counters with a flying knee. Nice.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Da Silva throws a left and a right that both miss
and Konap counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Da Silva is rocked!
Renato Da Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Konap thumps Da Silva with a low kick.
Da Silva looks gassed!
A head kick misses from Konap.
Konap connects with an inside leg kick.
Konap bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Da Silva's head.
Konap misses with a few strikes there.

Konap feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Konap stands up over Da Silva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Konap throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Da Silva is trying to keep Konap in close.
Konap stands and throws Da Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The strikes coming from Konap are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Konap cracks Da Silva with a big elbow.
Da Silva is trying to get back to his feet.
Konap working the ground and pound.
Konap lands an elbow.
Konap throws a strike aimed at the side of Da Silva's head but Da Silva avoids it well.

Konap is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Da Silva is trying to escape and Konap transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Da Silva is forced to tap! Nice work there by Konap! Very nice indeed!
